Business Leased Lines
Dedicated, symmetrical fibre with guaranteed speeds and a service level agreement, with interim connectivity and backup from the same supplier.
A dedicated line for your business
A leased line is a fibre connection that belongs to your business alone. Upload and download speeds are the same, the bandwidth is not shared with neighbours, and the service comes with a service level agreement covering fault repair.
For offices with many users, heavy cloud use, hosted phones or servers on site, it remains the benchmark for business connectivity.
What a leased line gives you
- Symmetrical speeds, so large uploads and video calls are as quick as downloads.
- Uncontended bandwidth that is yours alone, at every time of day.
- A service level agreement with defined fix times.
- Fixed IP addresses for servers, VPNs and remote access.
- Room to grow, with bandwidth that can often be upgraded without new fibre.
The part most providers do not mention
Leased lines can take months to install, especially if new fibre or civils are needed. Because we also supply satellite, 4G and 5G, we can get you online from day one with pre-ethernet connectivity, then keep that link as failover or hot-swap backup once the fibre is live.
Pricing. Leased line prices depend on your postcode and the distance to the nearest fibre point. Send us the address and we will come back with a firm quote.
Common questions
How long does a leased line take?
It depends on whether fibre is already nearby. We give you a realistic estimate after the survey and connect you on satellite or 4G/5G in the meantime if you need it.
What speed do we need?
It depends on users, cloud services and calls. We size it from your details and can usually increase the bandwidth later.
Does a leased line need a backup?
A leased line is very reliable, but it is still one physical cable. A second path on 4G, 5G or satellite covers digger strikes, exchange faults and planned works.
