Event Broadband and Wi-Fi
Temporary internet for shows, festivals and sporting events. Ticketing, card payments, production and staff Wi-Fi on satellite and 4G/5G.
When thousands of phones arrive, mobile signal disappears
Event sites are often fields, car parks and showgrounds with no fixed line. On the day, the local mobile network is shared with every visitor in the crowd, and card terminals relying on it start to fail.
A satellite connection is not affected by crowd load on the local mast. That makes it the natural primary connection for event operations, with 4G/5G as backup.
What we supply for events
- LEO satellite for the event office and payment points
- 4G/5G backup on the same router
- Separate staff and operations Wi-Fi networks
- Installation before gates open and collection after the event
